As we move from April into May & June, we will continue to move forward to keep
building our Lodge. The Social Quarters has a new look with decorations for each holiday,
a new television, and we are looking into different “service” for the TV’s and we hope to
upgrade the sound system so we can continue to bring in entertainment.
Along with the ever-popular “Queen of Hearts” drawing on Sunday afternoons, we are
looking to introduce some new games. (Still in the planning stage), and we will bring back
the Meat Raffles at some point.
The singing duo “Hot Sauce Universe” will be featured in the Social Quarters the night of
Steak Fry. If you haven’t heard this husband/wife team you are in for a treat. We are also
working on bringing back the Comedy night. These are just a couple of ideas brought to
the Moose for your enjoyment and we would love to see come out and help support
YOUR Lodge, along with Mooseheart and Moosehaven. If anyone has any other ideas for
our club, please contact any of the Board of Officers.
We are still having problems with the Bugle delivery. PLEASE contact us with your email
address, or check to see if your email address is correct, and the same your mailing
address. For you “Snowbirds” leaving Illinois for the winter, please let us know in July or
August when you are leaving and when you will return so we won’t have so many returns
of our mailings. Each Bugle returned costs us .49 so if we can cut down it will save us
money. Also, if you have a family member or a friend who is deceased, please let us
Remember, YOU helped build this Lodge in the past and we would really like to see you
come back and be a part of it now and in the future. We all work for the common good
of the Moose. If you have any concerns, please contact me. We look forward to seeing
each and every one of you back at the Bloomington Moose Family Center.
Thank you
