Hello Ladies and Gentleman of the Bloomington Moose Lodge #745. My name is Logan Lindsey. I recently have taken over the position of Administrator here at the lodge, and after just a few short weeks, I can say it is a pleasure to be here, working with great volunteers and creating opportunity to add new members through events, weddings, birthdays, etc. I have met quite a few of you over this time period, but as we move on to the next few months, I hope to meet as many members as I can and contribute to the lodge by helping plan further events. We hope to see as many members as we can contribute their time and help us make the lodge as successful as possible.

We recently hosted our first of what will hopefully be an annual event, Oktoberfest at the Lodge. We experienced quite a turnout, exceeding expectations and opening up the opportunity to continue this event as an annual feature here at the lodge. A lot of hard work went into the planning and execution, and without your support we couldn’t have don’t it. Being so, I’d like to take a moment and say thank you to all the members who came out and supported us during Oktoberfest, from cooking to cleaning and organizational help. Don’t forget, the Women of The Moose worked hard to make this a fun and exciting event for all members and to the public. Make sure you show your support for the Women of the Moose, they did Amazing!

Now, looking towards the future, we need your support. One of my personal goals is to open my own event planning business, and that is a feature I’d like to grow into right here at the Lodge. We have the capacity to host a wide range of activities, and I’d love to see you choose us to help make your special days the best they can be. If you know any friends, family, or members of the lodge who have any special dates or events coming up, let them know that the Moose is the place to be. We will be working towards bringing in live entertainment, such as live music to games, special event parties, and much more. If you have any ideas that you think would be a hit, feel free to swing by my office. I’d love to hear your ideas and see how we can improve your experience here at the lodge.

In closing, I just want to take a moment and wish everyone hello. There is so many members I have yet to meet, and I’d love to get a chance to sit with you and meet everyone that I can. And as I grow further into this position, I want to see us grow as a lodge. Adding new members, hosting great parties, and making this a fun and charitable place to be. And we cannot do that without all the support you all show. So Thank you, and lets have some fun!
