Hello to all you fantastic members of the Bloomington Moose Lodge #745. We here at the Moose have seen many great volunteers over the past few months, and we would all like to say thank you very much for all you do to keep the doors open and the good times rolling. Don't forget, if you would like to volunteer and add to our wonderful team of men and women who work so diligently to ensure we provide the best atmosphere here at the lodge, swing by the office or check us out on Facebook under the Bloomington Moose Lodge 745/WOTM Chapter 173 page and sign up on our volunteer page to help. We always have a need for fantastic volunteers!

Now, I would like to take some time and discuss some current undertakings here at the Bloomington Moose Lodge. As we prepare to take our first steps into 2018, I believe there are activities that we as a Lodge can facilitate that would reach more members and peak the interest of those who may want to become a Moose member as well. Is there any Sports that members here would like to join? Do we want to see more family events, such as Movie Nights, Board Game nights, or even Trivia Nights? I understand that everyone has their own favorite activities and hobbies, and I'd love to try and integrate more of those here at the Lodge to reach as many members and potential members as possible. So if you have any thoughts or would like to sit down and brainstorm, feel free to reach out to the LOOM 745/WOTM Chapter 173 officers and let us know what you're thinking, it might just be our next great event!

Upcoming in February, we here at the Lodge are privileged to be hosting a number of local high schools and youth sports teams, both for fundraisers and for trivia nights. We will be needing a great number of volunteers, so don't be shy. 2018 is your year to make a difference. Ask your favorite group of officers how you can help today, and every day from then on.

Lastly, I'd like to take a moment and say Happy Holidays to everyone. From your Moose Family, we love you all and hope everyone had a fun and exciting winter holiday season, a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Our goal for 2018 is to be as charitable as we can, and to make sure the kids at Mooseheart and the residents down at Moosehaven know we are here supporting them. So come help us help others, and be Moose Proud!
